TGS was involved with modernizing a 5.4-mile stretch of U.S. 276 (Jonathan Creek Road) in Waynesville, NC The improvements spanned from U.S. 19 (Soco Road/Dellwood Road) to the Exxon Gas Station just south of I-40. The upgrades included paving shoulders along U.S. 276, extending turn lanes at some locations to increase capacity, adjusting median openings, adding U-turn bulbs, and converting the U.S. 276/U.S. 19 intersection into a two-lane roundabout. This $47M project is estimated to be completed in late 2028.
