In order to replace an aging 1908 historic pin truss bridge with a modern plate girder structure over the French Broad River in Cocke County, Tennessee, TGS provided turn-key engineering services to Norfolk Southern. Over 1 million cubic yards of rock were excavated to improve track alignment and build a causeway in the river to construct the 10 span, 970’ long single track structure.
