TGS was responsible for designing the replacement of bridge #169 on Sonoma Road (SR 1876) over West Fork Pigeon River and bridge #170 on Max Thompson Road (SR 1105) over the East Fork Pigeon River near the Town of Canton. The original structures were built in 1970 and were deemed structurally deficient during recent inspections. Additionally, bridge #170 sustained damage during Hurricane Helene in late 2024. Right of way is in progress in early 2025, the anticipated letting date of HB-0023 is June 2025.
