The project (B-5846) involves the replacement of bridge #189 and the realignment of Jennings Road (SR 1892) in Iredell County, NC. The realignment starts 880 feet south of the bridge over the South Yadkin River and ends 803 feet north of the bridge, covering a total length of approximately 0.382 miles. The construction will include a new bridge, roadway improvements, and associated drainage systems. The project was let in 2023. Currently under construction with an estimated completion date of February 2026.
